Aftab Hussain

Aftab Hussain is Director Research at the Center for International Strategic Studies Sindh (CISSS). He is PhD scholar at East China Normal University (ENCU), Shanghai, P.R.C. He did his MPhil and MSc in Defense and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

He has vast experience of editing and publishing at China Knowledge (2017-2018), and various newspapers (2003-2005). He also remained associated with Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) for seven years (2009-2015). He has published research papers and has edited books as well as book chapter to his credit. He has presented research papers in national and international conferences. His areas of interest include Pakistan’s relations with China, the US and Russia; strategic studies; diplomatic history, foreign policy and regional studies. He frequently contributes in national and international daily newspapers.
